KENNER, La. (WGNO) – A group called “The Taylor Project” will host its first fundraiser on Sunday (July 10) in the memory of raising canes manager Taylor Friloux who was murdered while at work last month.

The event runs from noon to midnight, at the Speakeasy Bar & Grill at 4345 Williams Blvd, Kenner.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids.

There will be free food, a silent auction, door prizes, and live music, according to the group.

The donations will provide financial help to Taylor’s family and continue to help families of homicide victims in the future.
