UPDATE: As of 11:00 a.m. this power outage has been fully restored.
Although some Jefferson Parish residents are without power, it is not related to this issue.
UPDATE: As of 10:00 a.m. there are still more than 900 Jefferson Parish residents without power.
Entergy says they are actively working to restore electricity to the affected residences.
KENNER, La. (WGNO) — Entergy Louisiana is reporting a large power outage on Tuesday morning.
Initial reports began coming in around 6:00 a.m.
Areas affected include Kenner and Metairie, from MSY Airport to the city line, and Airline Drive to West Napoleon Avenue.
Entergy says power should be restored by 9:30 a.m.
