METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — Three deputies were injured early Wednesday morning following a vehicle pursuit and crash in Jefferson Parish.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office says the incident took place at the intersection of S. I-10 Service Road West near the Causeway exit.
One deputy was hospitalized after a crash during the pursuit, according to officials. The deputy is said to be in stable condition.
Authorities say two other deputies sustained minor injuries while arresting a man and a woman related to the pursuit. There is no word yet on what led to the chase or what charges the suspects may face.
