NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – All residents in New Orleans should expect low water pressure next week beginning Monday, December 21, the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans announced.

Contractors working for the Corps of Engineers and the Sewerage and Water Board will tie in a new water line.

Residents and businesses in different areas of the City may experience low water pressure on Monday, December 21, 2015, beginning at 6 a.m. through December 23, 2015, ending at midnight.

Residents that experience water service issues are encouraged to call 52WATER (529-2837).

Areas that may be impacted include:

  • Carrollton
  • Uptown
  • Central Business District
  • Mid City
  • Ninth Ward
  • New Orleans East
