NEW ORLEANS – City Councilwoman Helena Moreno will introduce a resolution to rename Jefferson Davis Parkway.
The proposal is co-authored by all seven councilmembers. It would rename the road to Dr. Norman Francis Parkway after retired Xavier University president Dr. Norman. C. Francis.
Moreno will introduce the resolution at the end of today’s council meeting.
