UPDATE: As of 3:21 p.m. the Waveland Police Department has declared the scene of this incident all clear.
WAVELAND, Miss. — On Wednesday afternoon the Waveland Police Department announced a major gas leak.
The gas leak is located at the Ground Zero Museum located on Coleman Avenue.
Waveland PD began evacuating residents in the area north from the railroad tracks on Waveland Avenue to the area of Spruce Street.
A temporary shelter has been set up for evacuees.
