NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The stars will be shining bright from October 16th-October 23rd for the 25th annual New Orleans Film Festival.

News with a Twist’s Kenny Lopez has your All-Access Pass to the “5 Must-see flicks” at this year’s fest, where 237 films will be shown and 450 filmmakers will be in Hollywood South to showcase their films.

“Black & White” starring Kevin Costner and Octavia Spencer opens this year’s fest.  Other films, “Loveland”, “61 Bullets” and “Broken Heart Land” are also receiving good buzz.  “The Big Beat” a documentary profiling Fats Domino and Dave Bartholomew will close the New Orleans Film Festival on Oct. 23rd.
