NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser is hosting events across Louisiana to celebrate National Tourism Week.

Tuesday morning, he stopped in New Orleans for a parade through the French Quarter.

Later, he’ll be in Houma and Morgan City.

Last year, Louisiana attracted nearly 30 million visitors bringing in more than $800 million in state tax revenue.
