NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) –  You see the calendar. It’s not even Thanksgiving, but in New Orleans, it’s already beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

WGNO News with a Twist features guy Wild Bill Wood is plugging in the lights for the Christmas tree in the French Quarter.

It’s the tree that’s right across from Jackson Square in the French Quarter.  The tree is part of the celebratation for Christmas New Orleans style.

It’s 27 feet tall, filled with LED lights and at the top of the tree is where you really find the party for New Orleans style.

Only at the top of a New Orleans Christmas tree would there ever be a fluer de lis.
