LAFITTE– The low lying area of Lafitte is used to coastal flooding and storm surge. WGNO’s Kenny Lopez spent the day in Lafitte, where folks were preparing for both “Marco” and “Laura.”
Residents in Lafitte are happy they have the added protection with a new floodwall, but they are still preparing with sandbags.
