LAS VEGAS (WGNO) – Members of New Orleans funk band Big Sam’s Funky Nation had their instruments stolen from their vehicle in Las Vegas.
The group, led by Big Sam Williams and popular on the music festival circuit both locally and around the country, posted on its Facebook page about the theft.
“Every now & then, you’re so exhausted after a show, u get lazy & leave your instruments in your vehicle. Even tho they were well hidden under the seats… we got GOT in Vegas! smh… Trombone, Bass, & Guitar. We’re looking for them now. Wish us luck,” members of the band said on their Facebook page.
According to the band’s website, they are slated to play tonight at Crystal Bay Casino in Nevada.
