New Orleans (WGNO)–Drivers planning to use 610 this weekend may need to find another route.
The westbound lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 7 Saturday morning.
Then, eastbound lanes will be shut down at 9 p.m. Saturday and reopen at 8 Sunday morning.
Crews are working to repair bridge joints.
The Department of Transportation suggests taking I-10 instead.
