BATON ROUGE – On Tuesday, Governor John Bel Edwards addressed the ongoing coronavirus crisis in Louisiana, at a press conference.
During this conference, Gov. Edwards announced that Louisiana is now #1 in per capita COVID-19 cases.
The Louisiana Department of Health reported more than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases today. That’s in addition to over 2,000 new cases reported the day before, and more than 3,800 new cases reported on July 26.
