We’ve heard so many different things called superfoods, but Indian researchers say one animal’s milk might be the superfood for which we’ve all been waiting.

The Pacific beetle cockroach gives birth to live young and feeds its babies protein-dense crystals with four times more the nutrition of cow’s milk, according to The New York Post.

Yes, it’s from cockroaches.

But don’t worry, you might not want to switch out your almond milk just yet.

According to India’s Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, the roach milk is extremely high in calories.

They’re also trying to sequence the genes so they can be reproduced in a lab so we don’t have to create cockroach milking farms.
