NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)- It was a night in Emerald City for the first ever, “Cookies & Cocktails” fundraiser put on by Girl Scouts Louisiana East.
WGNO’s Kenny Lopez emceed the event at Harrah’s with it’s Wizard of Oz theme.
WGNO’s Deepak Saini helped judge the cookie creations that 20 different chefs and bartenders came up with for the fundraiser.
All the money raised will support activities for our local Girl Scouts.
“This is helping us to offer leadership development programs for girls,” Marianne Addy with Girl Scouts Louisiana East, said.
Stephanie Osborne and Dr. Allison Wallace were co-chairs for the popular event.
Robin Barnes and the band, Groovy 7 provided the music.
