NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)- Recognize these doll faces?  You just might because all of these dolls were featured in Spaulding’s room on Season 3 of the hit FX show, “American Horror Story: Coven”.

Top Drawer Antiques on Magazine Street rented out the dolls for the show. Aaron Jarabica is the store owner and said he bought the dolls from an elderly woman in Metairie, who had a huge doll collection.

The set director for American Horror Story stopped by Top Drawer and asked to rent the dolls.

“It was only supposed to be a few week rental, but it ended up being a few month rental,”  Jarabica said.

For him, seeing them being used in one of Hollywood South’s biggest shows is exciting.

“It’s amazing how you can see the dolls placed on the book shelf on the show.  The character would have tea with the dolls and do all kinds of crazy stuff like the dolls chasing people, and curses,”  he said.

Now these dolls are back in his store and he’s thrilled to be selling them to American Horror Story fans.

“People from all over the country call me on the phone and ask me to ship them out.  A big doll costs $100, while a small one is $75.  We do special combo deals like two large dolls for $140 or two small ones for $100.”

And these dolls are 100 percent authentic.

“We make a copy of the rental agreement that we had with the show.  This way the people buying the dolls can know that these are the real dolls from the set, and not just dolls from anywhere,”  Jarabica said.

Now it makes you wonder if anything creepy has ever happened with the dolls around.

“None of them have turned, looked at me, and winked, so I think everything is okay,”  he said.
