Kelly Osbourne makes racist remark about Latinos on ‘The View’

Insert foot in mouth here — things got heated on “The View” Tuesday (Aug. 4) with guest host Kelly Osbourne making a flippant racist joke during a hot-topic conversation about presidential hopeful Donald Trump.

“If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?” Osbourne says in response to Trump’s racist comments about Mexico and immigration views. “In the sense that … you know what I mean? But I’m saying that in L.A., they always …”

The former “Fashion Police” host instantly realizes she is in trouble with co-hosts Michelle Collins, Whoopi Goldberg, Raven-Symone and especially Rosie Perez.  “Latinos are not only … , ” Perez starts to say defending the Latin culture. Then Osbourne cut her off saying, “No, I didn’t mean it like that! Come on! I would never mean it like that! I’m not part of this argument.”

Perez defends Osbourne at the end of the show for things getting a bit too heated. “No, Kelly Osbourne is on our side and I was sensitive,” Perez says. “My disdain should go to only Donald Trump, so I’m sorry, darling.”

“No, you don’t have to apologize to me,” Osbourne replies. “I love you, Rosie.”

Despite there being no hard feelings between the ladies, it still happened on national TV and the fans are less than pleased.
