Josh Duggar gets lucky: Porn star drops lawsuit

In the latest detail unfolding in the Josh Duggar saga, it looks like the former reality TV star has one less thing to worry about.

Previously, porn actress Danica Dillon — real name, Ashley Stamm-Northup — filed an assault lawsuit against Duggar, suing him for $500,000. The Associate Press reports the San Diego-based actress has since dropped the lawsuit as evidence shows her claims to be falsified.

Duggar’s attorney shot down the accusations as “entirely fictitious” when they were first alleged. According to Stamm-Northup’s lawsuit, she claims to have met Duggar while working at a Philadelphia strip club in the Spring of 2015. She states they moved to a hotel for sex and that is when Duggar supposedly assaulted her.

Evidence brought to light by the Duggar camp proves he was not in Philadelphia at the time.

Since the molestation scandal went public, the Duggar family’s reality TV show, “19 Kids and Counting” was taken off of TLC’s roster. Duggar has since apologized for molesting his four sisters, the baby sitter and cheating on his wife.

He is currently in treatment for his pornography addiction.
