(CNN) — Fans hungry for new Adele music may have just gotten a nibble.

A teaser promo aired this weekend on British TV during a broadcast of “The X Factor” that sounded like Adele singing the lyrics “Hello, it’s me / I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet / To go over / Everything / They say that time’s supposed to heal ya / But I ain’t done much healing.”

The words appear on the blank screen followed by an ellipsis.

According to Billboard, Adele’s “25” album is slated to happen at some point this year. Not much is known about the followup to her smash sophomore 2011 album “21” though reportedly collaborators include Tobias Jesso Jr., producer/DJ Danger Mouse and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder.

Buzz increased that the clip is a new Adele song after the One Republic Twitter account tweeted her name and a smiley face

Adele has been pretty much off the music scene, despite singing “Skyfall,” the theme for the 2012 James Bond of the same name. That same year she gave birth to a son with boyfriend Simon Konecki, and there has been much speculation over whether the two are still together. The Grammy-winning singer is notoriously private and has not confirmed whether she is indeed now single or not.

Suffice it to say fans are excited with the possibility that the return is near.
