NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Hogs for the Cause has released its music lineup for 2017, and fans of southern-fried roots rock should be as happy as bacon fanatics are with the festival’s pig-centric menu.

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Railroad Earth, Shovels & Rope, The London Souls, Fruit Bats, George Porter, Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners, Futurebirds, and many more band will take one of three stages for the ninth annual Hogs for the Cause.

“This year’s bands were carefully curated to offer our audience the best of the best in Americana music,” co-founder Becker Hall said in a statement. “We are so excited about the music—it offers attendees the quintessential American music experience.”

The festivities kick off March 31 and April 1 at the UNO Lakefront Arena fields, the new location for the growing festival.
