NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — According to federal court documents, Darren Sharper has reached a new plea deal in his drug and rape case.
Sharper was due in court on Thursday for sentencing but a new trial will start on May 16.
Sharper request his sentencing be continued until June 15.
