The victim was struck in the upper thigh and is listed in stable condition.
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The NOPD has reported a shooting that occurred in the Treme neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.
An initial report claims officers responded to the incident located in the 300 block of North Villere Street.
Upon arrival, police found a female victim who was suffering from gunshot wounds to the lower extremities.
The victim was taken to the hospital.
