NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officials with University Medical Center in New Orleans have reportedly continued patient visits after receiving a threat to campus.

Hospital staff were notified in a message sent Tuesday morning that the threat could impact the safety of the hospital. As a precaution, patient visits were put on pause.

Later Tuesday afternoon, officials said the threat came from a non-credible caller. We’re told hospital visitations have since resumed.
