NOPD on the hunt for Money Montana

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The latest Wheel of Justice report focuses on a shooting in the Hollygrove neighborhood.  According to police, the suspect goes by the alias of Money Montana.  Now they’re trying to determine her real name.

Police say the shooting started as an argument between two young women at the corner of Marks and General Ogden streets at about 5:00 last Saturday evening, July 23.

They say one of the women pulled a gun and fired multiple shots, striking the other in the arm.  Police say the victim is 17-years-old, and her injuries were not life-threatening.

According to a statement from police, detectives believe the suspect, Money Montana, may be an exotic dancer in the area.  Once they find out her real name, they plan to book her with aggravated battery.
