JUNE 21 UPDATE: The NOPD has released photos of an alleged suspect and two persons of interest in a shooting near the intersection of Bourbon and St. Ann on Sunday.

The NOPD originally reported the incident in the 800 block of Burgundy, then corrected the location to the 800 block of St. Ann.

The suspect is an adult male, while the two female persons of interest have been identified as 19-year-old Lauren Brielle Wilson, also known as Lauren Carmouche, and 29-year-old Alisha Carmouche. All pictured in the tweet below from the official NOPD Twitter account.

The persons of interest are not currently wanted on criminal charges. However, detectives feel the two may have knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to interview them.

According to a follow-up report, the three subjects are reportedly known to frequent the 700 and 800 blocks of Bourbon Streets and to sell marijuana-infused edibles from a hand cart.

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)— The New Orleans Police Department began investigating a shooting early Sunday morning.

According to officers the shooting occurred in the 800 block of Burgundy Street.

Initial reports show a man suffered from a gunshot injury.

The man was taken to a hospital by EMS.

At this time no further details are available.
