NEW ORLEANS — The NOPD is investigating a homicide in the 5100 block of St. Claude Avenue.
NOPD was first notified of this incident at about 1:25 p.m., with the incident being confirmed at about 1:38 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject lying in the parking lot of a business and having sustained a stab wound. The victim was declared deceased at the scene.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will identify the victim and official cause of death upon completion of autopsy and notification of family.
