NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Two masked men robbed an Uptown restaurant, Noodle & Pie, Thursday night, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Authorities say the men armed with guns came through the back door of the build at 741 State St, New Orleans about 10:50 p.m. and demanded money.

The NOPD says two employees, a 31-year-old man, and a 24-year-old woman were on duty at the time of the robbery. They complied with the gunmen’s demands. Then the suspects fled the restaurant with a bag full of money.

This is the second armed robbery of a restaurant this week. On Tuesday two masked gunmen attempted to rob patrons at Lakeview Harbor Restaurant & Bar. See surveillance video of that robbery here.
