NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a homicide in the 2200 block of Bartholomew Street.
At around 6:27 p.m., NOPD Fifth District officers were called to the scene of an aggravated battery by shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered one victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to the hospital by EMS, where he was pronounced dead.
