NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Police are looking for a man who held up an Uptown snoball stand at gunpoint Wednesday evening.

Surveillance video from SnoWizard shows the suspect standing at the counter pointing a gun at an employee inside. Police say the suspect who is described to be in his 40s or 50s demanded money from the employee. That’s when the worker walked to the back of the stand.

The suspect was described as having a white and grey full beard and grey and white long hair. He was wearing a grey t-shirt, green shorts, black hat, and brown slippers with white socks. It appeared that the suspect has a small tattoo on his right outer leg.

SnoWizard is located at 4001 Magazine Street.
