UPDATE — The New Orleans Coroner has identified the victim in this incident as 36-year-old Jermaine Cobb.
The preliminary cause of death is listed as gunshot wounds.
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Monday morning, the NOPD responded an emergency call in the 1400 block of Tricou Street.
Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered a male suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to the NOPD, the victim was declared deceased at the scene.
Foul play is suspected, and officers have determined this case a homicide.
