UPDATE: Kenner Police said the fourth suspect, the woman wanted in connection with the robbery and murder, has been arrested. Police said her name is Ariana Runner. She’s 22 years old and from Reserve. KENNER, La. (WGNO) – A third suspect has charged with first-degree murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of Raising Cane’s manager Taylor Friloux. Detectives arrested 18-year-old Gregory Donald Jr. of Kenner Thursday. He initially told authorities he was the getaway in the robbery, but later confessed to being the second person inside the Cane’s restaurant with 23-year-old Joshua Every. Donald also told investigators that Every was armed with a knife and he “stabbed that girl,” according to Lt. Brian McGregor. Every surrendered to authorities Wednesday at his home in LaPlace. He faces first-degree murder charges along with robbery charges.
24-year-old Mark Crocklen was the second person to be charged in the case. He admitted to police that he was the getaway driver during the robbery. Crocklen also faces a first-degree murder charge. McGregor said Donald and Every are former Raising Cane’s employees. Donald has been charged with first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, armed robbery and aggravated assault. His bond has not been set. Police say the investigation is still active, and they are searching for other people who may be involved.
