NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Three Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office administrators are out of a job after Sheriff Susan Hutson says the agency is undergoing organizational changes.

The sheriff says as we approach her one-year tenure of taking office, she is making changes to reform the structure of the OPSO. On Friday four administrators were given the opportunity to either stay with the sheriff’s office for a transitioning period or resign:

  • Asst. Sheriff Kristen Morales
  • Asst. Sheriff Pearlina Thomas
  • Chief Legal Counsel Graham Bosworth
  • CFO David Trautenberg

Hutson says out of the four staff members, Morales, who resides over the OPSO’s IT, will stay with the sheriff’s office as it undergoes the transitioning stages.

Details regarding what other transitions would be made within the sheriff’s office were not given.
