NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The SWAT roll near the Little Woods neighborhood has been cleared.
According to NOPD, the suspect, 29-year-old Randy Lewis, surrendered without incident.
Lewis was booked and will be charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm or weapon by a felon.
NOPD says Lewis was wanted for armed robbery.
Lewis barricaded himself inside an apartment around noon on Friday.
The apartment complex, Carmel Brook, is located at 12345 North I-10 Service Road.
