METAIRIE, La. — Local police say 27-year-old New Orleans native Joshua Jamal Williams started a heated argument at a local gun shop, that ended with a deadly gunfight.

Two bystanders were injured in the shooting, and three were killed, including Williams.

Jefferson Gun Outlet, 6719 Airline Drive

The store clerk, 47-year-old Noah Fiscbach, was killed during the shootout.

Also killed was 59-year-old Veronica Billiot, who was at the store to pick up a gun she had purchased previously.

Investigators say Williams became involved in a gunfight with employees and patrons after being told he should not have entered the store with a loaded gun.  

Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, as well as the ATF New Orleans Field Division were on the scene of the shooting, at the Jefferson Gun Outlet, located at 6719 Airline Drive in Metairie.
