NEW ORLEANS (wGNO) – Trung Le, the 21-year-old man accused of killing one person and injuring 9 others during a shootout on Bourbon Street last June, was back in Orleans Parish Criminal Court Tuesday.
Defense attorneys asked a judge for access to the names of potential witnesses to the shooting that had been blacked out in police reports about the incident.
All parties will return to court on Friday when the judge will hear arguments on the request.
Le is facing manslaughter and attempted murder charges in the case.
