IBERVILLE PARISH, La. (WGNO) – Test results show a 30-year-old geography and civics teacher accused of having sex with three students, also fathered a child with one of them.
Keavin Keith faces 2 counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, 5 counts of felony carnal knowledge and 30 counts of prohibited sexual conduct between at educator and a student. But more charges could be filed.
The Iberville Parish Sheriff office announce on their Facebook page Friday that DNA tests confirmed that Keith fathered a child with one of the victims associated with the investigation.

Keith was a teacher at Math, Science, Arts Academy-West and received the High School Teacher of the Year award in Iberville Parish for the 2013-2014 school year, according to the South Plaquemine Post.
MSA Principal Elvis Cavalier told WBRZ earlier this week that Keith has been placed on unpaid leave and depending on what happens with the investigation, he could be terminated.
