NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)— A man accused of starting a shootout on Bourbon Street appeared in court on Thursday, December 2.
Trung Le, the man convicted of shooting and killing student Brittany Thomas and injuring 9 others during a gunfight was re-sentenced in Orleans Parish criminal court.
Judge Nandi Campbell ordered Le to serve five years in prison on a reduced charge of negligent homicide.
