NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) –Tens of thousands will be headed to Santa Clara this weekend for Super Bowl 50. But a USA Today writer says the game shouldn’t be there ever.

In fact, he says every Super Bowl should be played right here in New Orleans.

The article by Nate Scott lists the obvious, great food and no last calls, which means even after the game the party continues.

But he also mentions that it’s festival season and since we are already in party mode why not add to the fun.

Scott says that the Superdome is in the best location.

You can walk anywhere or even hop on a streetcar, plus people are dying to visit here, not Santa Clara.
