• About the Gala
o The New Orleans Film Society is hosting their annual patron party and gala at the Garden District home of Sara and Paul Costello.
o Guests will be treated to food from top chefs around New Orleans including Susan Spicer (Bayona, Mondo) and custom cocktails featuring Sailor Jerry Rum, Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, Hendrick`s Gin, and Reyka Vodka.
o Mad Men star Bryan Batt will lead a live auction including unique experiences such as a visit to the set of NCIS: New Orleans and passes to the Tribeca Film Festival.
o A laser-light show courtesy of the Solomon Group will light up the dance floor featuring tunes by New Orleans` DJ duo Babygirl and the X-Factor drumline from Xavier University.
• About the New Orleans Film Society:
o Every ticket purchased to the Gala will go directly towards the New Orleans Film Society`s mission: to engage, educate, and inspire through the art of film.
o NOFS hosts regular monthly screenings and events, in addition to three film festivals and one film showcase annually.
o NOFS supports filmmakers and audiences, serving close to 40,000 attendees in 2014 alone. The 25th New Orleans Film Festival featured 237 films and brought 450+ filmmakers to New Orleans to share their work with local audiences.
