NEW ORLEANS, LA. — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a deadly accident that happened at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and St. Bernard Avenue. Police say a male bicyclist was struck by a car. The man was rushed to the hospital, but he died from his injuries.
The driver remained on the scene after the accident. The identity of the victim has not been released and the incident remains under investigation.
