LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. (KLFY) A local trucker who died of cancer got one last ride Saturday.

Alex McLean of Carencro was a long-time truck driver who in 2019 was diagnosed with colon cancer.

He died March 9 at home surrounded by family and friends.

A truck bearing McLean’s body was escorted to its final resting place.

He was 54 years old.
