NEW ORLEANS – Gold is good.
And WGNO-TV is bringing it home.
It’s Emmy gold.
Emmy Awards for 2020 were awarded Saturday night.
The Emmy Awards ceremony, because of the pandemic, was virtual.
But the awards were real.
Bill Wood and photojournalist Justin Abshire were the winners.
They won for a feature story, a religion story and an arts and entertainment story.
And Just Abshire won for his editing.
