NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)- The Make It Right Foundation just announced that Solange Knowles will play at the benefit concert & party at House of Blues on August 29th.
This will be the same weekend as the 10 year Hurricane Katrina anniversary.
After Hurricane Katrina, The Make It Right Foundation worked hard to help in the rebuilding effort. Make it Right is a non-profit organization dedicated to building healthy homes for communities in need.
Movie star, Brad Pitt is the founder of Make it Right. To date, Make it Right has built 105 homes. The single family homes in New Orleans cost $150,000 on average.
