SLIDELL, LA (WGNO) – Over 60,000 light bulbs will be twinkling by the bayou in Heritage Park this week. Sponsors made it possible for the festival to be free to thousands of it’s visitors. Admission, kiddy rides, and photos with Santa are all free.

The proceeds from the sponsors go to the Slidell’s Boys and Girls Club.

The specular light show that dances with the music are controlled by one computer that makes the show possible. Most of the light carving displays and made by the children in the Boys and Girls Club.
