NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)- Hundreds of smart, beautiful, accomplished, and fun women will march on New Orleans this weekend for the “Hot Mess Mom’s Million Mess March”.

Don’t be surprised if you hear a roar of laughter coming from the Warehouse District the next few days. You’ll be hearing the roaring of laughter from the “messy moms” at the 4th annual Million Mess March.
“Our stomachs will hurt from belly laughing for a solid 72-hours.”
“Hot Mess Mom” started the event to give women a chance to getaway from their daily lives.
“It’s a time for these ladies to take a break from husbands, jobs, and their kids just so they can get to be themselves, and be their authentic selves. We have 300 women that come in from 49 states and even Canada. It’s the greatest girl’s weekend. We’re going to drink, eat, dance, but above all that we are all going to leave here with more self-esteem,” Hot Mess Mom”, said.
At the core the event is about friendship and encouraging other women.
“We want to build each other up, instead of knocking each other down, which is something that unfortunately sometimes women tend to do,” she said.
A weekend like this is exactly what these women want and need!
On Friday night there will be a party at Howlin’ Wolf with a charity auction. All proceeds from the auction will go to help kids at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Then on Saturday, these self-proclaimed “messy moms” will march for their pub crawl.
