Republican Jay Dardenne endorses John Bel Edwards

Republican Lieutenant Governor Jay Dardenne endorsed Democrat John Bel Edwards for governor. Dardenne made the formal announcement at a new conference at LSU Thursday morning.

 

ATC suspenses liquor licenses to 4 more French Quarter strip clubs, bars

Four French Quarter bars including the popular Bourbon Cowboy and The Swamp have been stripped of their liquor license as part of “Operation Trick or Treat” by the Louisiana Alcohol and Tobacco Control.

Southbound lanes of Paris Road reopen after police activity

The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Department was shut down Paris Road in both directions at the Orleans Parish line because of a police action.
