CHICAGO (WGNO) – “I can’t tell you how much hanging out I do on Bourbon Street,” Judge Greg Mathis said with a laugh.
The popular reality TV judge told News with a Twist in a recent interview that he loves to visit The Big Easy.
The Judge Mathis Show tapes in Chicago and hears about 200 cases each season. When the show has down time, the judge loves to travel. One of the cities he enjoys most is New Orleans.
“Treme is one of my favorite parts of town,” Mathis said.
His favorite restaurant? None other than Dooky Chase.
Mathis spent a good bit of time here after Hurricane Katrina to show his support, and he frequently visits to attend sporting events.
