NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The red carpet rolled out for Deepwater Horizon, the movie about the BP oil spill back in 2010.
WGNO News with a Twist features guy Wild Bill Wood was on the red carpet, too, snapping photos with the stars.
Kate Hudson rocked the red carpet in red. Kate stars as one of the wives of one of the workers on the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig when it exploded and spilled into the Gulf of Mexico.

Gina Rodriguez, from the CW’s Jane the Virgin also stars in the movie. Gina strikes a pose with Wild Bill.
Mark Wahlberg is the the movie and he’s one of the producers.
Deepwater Horizon opens in theaters across America Friday, September 30.
