The Hose Guys

You don’t have to have a big shiny gig to make a movie. Sometimes it just takes the little guys that you don’t see to make the in house special effects.

One local company has literally made over $100,000 over the years for working in films alone. Like I said before the job isn’t as flashy but they are necessary.

Special Hydrological hoses and connectors are needed in order to make things blow up, or sets that rests on hydraulics that move. (EX: SFX’S Airplanes, earthquakes, ect…)

When “The Expendables” were shooting in New Orleans, they help build the hydraulics that made the airplane move on the indoor sound stage.

The Hose Guys have worked on over 40 feature films over the past few years, and when films come to town and are in need special hydraulics, they know exactly who to call.
