The NOLA-shot Deepwater Horizon released to theaters Friday and one local man landed a role in the film. James DuMont lives in New Orleans and in the film he plays BP’s Vice President Pat O’Bryan. James said in an interview with us, “What it’s (the film) about is, in a rare story that’s not being told these days is, is that it’s about a true story about working class heroes. Blue-collar working guys that are away from their families 21 days a month.”

NCIS: New Orleans

Hollywood South remembers Gary Glasberg, a TV writer and the executive producer of NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans, who died Wednesday at the age of 50.
